Week 1: Controlled mobilization and brace support
Spinal Fusion (TLIF/PLIF/ALIF)
Surgical stabilization of painful or unstable spinal segments using screws, rods and interbody cages. Techniques include TLIF, PLIF and ALIF, selected according to anatomy and indication.
Indications
- Spondylolisthesis (vertebral slippage)
- Significant spinal instability
- Advanced disc herniation or degenerative disc disease
- Structural deformities such as scoliosis or kyphosis
- Recurrent herniation / failed back surgery syndrome

Method
- TLIF: posterior approach with interbody cage and posterior fixation
- PLIF: bilateral posterior placement of interbody cages
- ALIF: anterior approach to place an interbody implant
- Vertebrae stabilized using metal screws, plates/rods and interbody cages
